Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six pieces of information—your gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount and term—suffice to get pricing from carriers. Your name, full address and detailed health information stay private unless you move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the costs quoted by each carrier for the health tier you indicated. After underwriting, the carrier may confirm, adjust or modify that classification; the final price follows the same process. This site makes no insurance offer or price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, the chosen quote becomes your application, and the process moves to the carriers' protected system. Pausing and resuming is permitted, and signatures are digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the submission.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer hinges on the carrier, coverage amount and your profile. Some carriers offer immediate decisions for eligible people; each quote tells you if an exam is required, might be required, or is not needed.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term matching the period when dependents or obligations would suffer without you: years of a mortgage, kids' upbringing, a business debt. Longer periods mean higher monthly costs but stable pricing for that full span. This tool lets you contrast 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quoting tool never gathers phone numbers or addresses, we do not market or distribute user information, and no tracking cookies are used. The privacy page lists precisely what is gathered and by whom.
